Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how to cancel a paid MORATUS plan, your 14-day right to a refund and when refunds are issued. It forms an integral part of the Terms of Use and the Distance Sales Agreement.

1. Scope
This policy applies to the Lite, Plus and Max personal plans and to the Lite, Plus and Max seat plans under Team & Enterprise purchased on moratus.ai. No payment is taken for the Free plan, so no refund applies. For custom enterprise services offered by quote or contract, this policy applies unless the agreement states otherwise.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited (United Kingdom). Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it collects payment, issues invoices, calculates taxes and handles refunds. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
2. 14-Day Right to a Refund
For every payment, you can request a refund without giving a reason within 14 days of the payment date. This applies to your first purchase and to every monthly renewal payment. Requests made within this period are refunded in full.
- Once a refund is approved, the related billing period ends and your account moves to the Free plan; your account and content are kept.
- Where the right to a refund is clearly abused, for example by repeatedly purchasing and requesting refunds with the same account or payment method, we may review the request, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
3. Cancelling Your Subscription
- You can cancel your subscription at any time, without penalty or giving a reason, from your account settings, from Paddle's subscription management page (paddle.net) or by writing to support@moratus.ai.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Until then you keep all features of your plan and your remaining credits.
- No further charges are made after cancellation; at the end of the period your account moves to the Free plan. Your account and content are kept unless you delete them.
- For team plans, reducing the number of seats takes effect from the next billing period.
4. Refunds After 14 Days
After the 14-day period, partially used billing periods are, as a rule, not refunded. In the following cases your payment is refunded regardless of timing:
- Duplicate or incorrect charge:
- If you are charged more than once for the same period, or an amount different from your plan, the full excess is refunded.
- Charge after cancellation:
- If a renewal fee is charged even though your cancellation reached us before the period ended, that fee is refunded.
- Service unavailability:
- If the service becomes unusable for an extended period or in a material way for reasons attributable to MORATUS, the amount for the unavailable period is refunded or, at your choice, added to your account as time or credits.
- Defective service:
- If the service is defective, your statutory remedies under Article 15 of Law No. 6502 (including a refund, a price reduction or re-performance) are reserved.
- Termination by MORATUS:
- If MORATUS closes your account for a reason other than your breach of the Terms of Use, the amount for the remaining period is refunded.
For accounts suspended or closed because of a breach of the Terms of Use, no refund is given for the remaining period, without prejudice to your statutory rights. Unused credits cannot be exchanged for cash and are not refundable on their own. For suspension and termination terms, see the Terms of Use
5. Price Changes and Renewal
Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the price in effect on that date. Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email or in-product notice and apply from the next period. If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel before the renewal date and you will not be charged the new price.
6. How to Request a Refund
- You can request a refund through Paddle's order support page at paddle.net by looking up your order with the email you used to purchase.
- You can also send your request to support@moratus.ai from the email address registered to your account; we will resolve it together with Paddle.
- Include your account email, the transaction date and the amount. Requests within the 14-day period do not need a reason.
- Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method (for card payments, to the same card). The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank.
If you open a payment dispute (chargeback) with your bank without first requesting a refund, the paid features of your account may be suspended until the dispute is resolved. Please contact us or Paddle first so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
7. Complaints and Disputes
You can send requests and complaints to support@moratus.ai. In a dispute, consumers in Türkiye may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee where they reside or where the transaction took place, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade, and for disputes above those limits to the Consumer Court after the mediation process required by law.
