Plans, Credits, and Billing
View and manage your plan under Settings > Billing and through the Manage Plan link in the account menu. Payments, cancellations, and refunds work as described below.
Viewing and changing your plan
- Open Manage Plan from the account menu, or Settings > Billing.
- See your current plan and membership details.
- Choose the new plan. At checkout, the plan, the seat count if any, and the total including taxes are shown.
- Confirm the amount. The purchase isn't completed without your confirmation.
Payment and renewal
- Paddle collects payment as the Merchant of Record; it issues invoices, calculates taxes, and handles refunds.
- Your card and payment details are processed by Paddle; MORATUS doesn't store them.
- The subscription fee is charged in advance at the start of each period. Unless canceled, the subscription renews automatically at the price in effect on the renewal date.
- Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email or in-product notice and apply from the next period. If you don't accept the new price, you can cancel before the renewal date.
- If a payment can't be collected, access to paid features may be suspended.
Cancellation
- You can cancel at any time in Settings > Billing, on Paddle's subscription management page (paddle.net), or by writing to support@moratus.ai.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Until then you keep your plan's features and your remaining credits.
- When the period ends, your account moves to the Free plan and no new charge is made. Your account and content are kept unless you delete them.
- On a Team plan, reducing the number of seats takes effect from the next billing period.
Refunds
- For every payment, you can request a refund within 14 days of the payment date without giving a reason. This applies to the first purchase and to every monthly renewal; the full amount you paid is refunded.
- When a refund is approved, that period ends and your account moves to the Free plan; your account and content are kept.
- Send your request through paddle.net using your purchase email, or to support@moratus.ai from the email registered to your account. Include your account email, the transaction date, and the amount.
- Refunds go to the original payment method; how long they take to appear depends on your bank.
- After 14 days, partially used periods aren't refunded. Exceptions include duplicate or incorrect charges, charges made after cancellation, and the service being unavailable for reasons on MORATUS's side (see the Refund and Cancellation Policy).
Note
If you open a chargeback with your bank without first requesting a refund, your account's paid features may be suspended until the dispute is resolved. For the fastest fix, contact support@moratus.ai or Paddle first.
Tracking your usage
- Your remaining credits are shown in the account menu.
- Daily, weekly, and cumulative token usage is tracked in Settings > Account > Usage.
- A notification is sent when your remaining credits for this period drop to 20%.
