MORATUS

Getting Started

One MORATUS account works across Web, Desktop, and Mobile: your credit balance, memory, preferences, and projects are the same on every device. Sign-in is passwordless; you sign in with your Google account or with a secure link sent to your email.

Sign-in methods

MethodHow it works
Continue with GoogleYou sign in with your Google account; you don't need to create a separate password.
Email linkYou enter your email address, then click the secure sign-in link sent to your inbox to open your session. No password is used.

Who can create an account?

  • MORATUS is for users aged 18 and over (see the Terms of Use).
  • The details you give when signing up must be accurate and up to date.
  • Your account credentials are personal; they can't be shared or transferred. On a team, each member works with their own account on their own seat (see Team plan).

Create an account

  1. Go to moratus.ai and click Sign in or Sign up for free.
  2. Choose a sign-in method: Continue with Google or email address.
  3. If you chose email, click the secure sign-in link sent to your inbox.
  4. Once sign-in is complete, you are returned to MORATUS and can start your first chat.

What happens on your first sign-in?

  • Your account opens on the Free plan with 300 monthly credits.
  • Credits renew every month, and they are deducted only for actual model usage.
  • The Free plan uses the Fast model; the Expert model and image, video, music, and slide generation are available on the Plus and Max plans (see Access by plan).
  • No payment details are required to create an account.
  • Chats from guest mode are not saved, so they are not moved to your account (see Guest mode).

Signing in on other devices

  • You can sign in to Desktop and Mobile with the same account; the sign-in flow depends on the platform (see Sign-in flow by platform).
  • Your account, memory, projects, and preferences stay in sync across devices.
  • Desktop Chat history is stored on your computer, so Desktop chats do not appear on other devices.

Managing your sessions

  • Settings > Account > Active Sessions lists your open sessions with their device, location, and sign-in time; you can close any of them one by one.
  • To sign out, use the sign-out option in the account menu.
  • Sign-in is protected with OAuth 2.0 and PKCE (see Identity and sessions).

Keeping your account safe

  • Because there's no password, your account is protected by the Google or email account you sign in with; turn on two-step verification there.
  • Don't share the sign-in link sent to your email, and don't click a sign-in link you didn't request.
  • On a shared device, sign out when you're done.
  • If you see a session you don't recognize, follow the steps in Identity and sessions.

If you can't sign in

  • The email link didn't arrive: Check that you typed the address correctly, look in your spam folder, or start the sign-in steps again to request a new link.
  • [Desktop] The app doesn't open again: The first time, the browser asks “Open MORATUS?”; confirm it (see Sign-in flow by platform).
  • The problem continues: Write to support@moratus.ai with your account's email address and the platform you use.

Closing your account

You can ask for your account to be closed and your data deleted by writing to privacy@moratus.ai from the email registered to your account.

  • When the account is closed, your content is deleted within 30 days (see Data controls).
  • If you want to keep your chats, export them first with Archive chats in Settings > Data controls.
