MORATUS

MORATUS Desktop

MORATUS Desktop is a desktop app for Windows. Sign-in is passwordless and happens in your system browser for security; the sign-in you complete there comes back to the app through a secure link.

  2. Complete the installation and open MORATUS.

Sign-in

  1. Click Sign in; sign-in opens in your system browser.
  2. Sign in with your Google account or with the secure link sent to your email.
  3. Confirm the browser's “Open MORATUS?” prompt; the session is handed to the app.
  4. Existing MORATUS users pick up where they left off with the same account.

How sign-in is protected

  • Sign-in uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE; email sign-in is passwordless.
  • The PKCE verifier exists only in the app window that started the flow, so a fake moratus:// link opened from outside cannot open a session.
  • You can see your active sessions with their device, location, and time in Settings > Account and end them one by one.

Your account and history

  • Your credit balance, memory, projects, preferences, and added skills are ready as soon as you sign in.
  • Desktop shows only the chats made on that computer; when you sign in with the same account on another computer, you see that computer's history.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to set a password? No. Sign-in is passwordless: you sign in with your Google account or with the secure link sent to your email.
  • Why does sign-in open in the browser instead of the app? Sign-in runs in your system browser with OAuth 2.0 and PKCE, and the session returns only to the app window that started the flow. This stops sessions from being opened through fake links.
  • Can I use Desktop on more than one computer? Yes, you can sign in with the same account. Each computer keeps its own chat history, while credits, memory, projects, and preferences are shared.
  • How do I sign out? Sign out from the account menu, and end sessions on other devices one by one in Settings > Account.
