MORATUS Desktop
Some Desktop features work differently from Web. The table below sums up the known limitations and how to work with them.
| Topic | Status | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Web Design and App Development | Projects run in a cloud sandbox; project files are not downloaded to disk. | Manage the project from its project workspace (see Website and app development). |
| Other files generated in the chat | Saved to disk. | Find them in the working folder or under Documents\Moratus. |
| Scheduled tasks | Keep running on the server, but can't write their results to the local chat history. | Follow task results through notifications (see Scheduled Tasks). |
| Chat history | Tied to the machine. | Keep important files in your working folders. |
| Projects, preferences, and skills | Kept on the server and in sync across devices. | — |
| Incognito chat | No file checkpoints are kept. | Do work that changes files in a normal chat. |
| Simultaneous requests | The same account can send up to 2 requests at the same time. | Wait for the other chat to finish. |
| Checkpoints | Don't cover changes made by terminal commands. | Make a git commit before large changes. |
To keep up with changes, check the release notes in the app (see Release notes and shortcuts).
