MORATUS Desktop
Desktop uses the same credit balance as Web. Before a step starts, estimated credits are reserved; when the work is done, the amount is settled against actual usage, and if nothing was used, the reserved credits are refunded.

Using fewer credits
- To look up information, use
web_searchandread_webpageinstead of the browser; they're faster and cheaper. - Workers taking on broad reading lowers credit usage (see Brain and worker architecture).
- Write clear instructions and leave files unrelated to the work out of scope.
For more about credits, see How are credits deducted?. If your credits don't cover a step, the INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS error appears (see Error references).
