Terminal
- PowerShell opens in the chat's working folder.
- The agent starts long-running processes in this terminal with
terminal_run, reads their output withterminal_read, and stops them withterminal_stop. - The ▶/■ button next to the composer shows the running process; stop it with ■.
- For work that finishes (tests, builds, git), the agent uses
run_commandinstead of the terminal (see File and system tools).
Preview and activity
- Generated files are previewed in the side panel, so you can review the result without leaving the chat.
- Web projects' previews also open in the side panel.
- The activity view follows file changes, the sources used, and the agent's steps.
Example scenario
In a web project, when you say “Run the site and open the home page,” the agent starts the dev server in the terminal with terminal_run, reads the local address with terminal_read, and opens the page in the side panel's browser. You follow its changes in the Activity view, and when you're done, stop the server with the ▶/■ button.
