Tools and Capabilities
MORATUS builds working websites and apps from the chat: it writes the project files, runs the project in the cloud, shows a preview, and publishes it when it is ready. For the best results in coding work, we recommend the Expert tier (see Service tiers).
- Choose Web Design or App Development under Connectors and describe what you want.
- MORATUS creates the project files and runs the project in an isolated cloud sandbox.
- A live preview, a code viewer, and the file list open in the side panel.
- Ask for changes in the chat; MORATUS edits the relevant files and refreshes the preview.
- Publish the project when it is ready.
Can you build a website for my neighborhood coffee shop with a menu and a reservation form?
Sure. I'm building a one-page site with the menu and a reservation form, and I'll set up a database table to store the reservations.
Project files created index.html · styles.css · app.js
app.js
1const form = document.querySelector('#rezervasyon');
2
3form.addEventListener('submit', async (event) => {
4 event.preventDefault();
5 const data = Object.fromEntries(new FormData(form));
6 await db.from('rezervasyonlar').insert(data);
7 form.reset();
8});

Preview ready preview.moratus.ai
The site is ready. I opened the preview in the side panel; the reservation form saves straight to the database. If you like it, you can publish it from Settings.

- Files: All files in the project and when they were last updated.
- Preview: A live preview of the project. Previews are served from
preview.moratus.ai, a separate, cookieless address apart from the main app. - Code: A file tree and a code viewer with line numbers; changed files are marked.
- Dashboard: Analytics for the published site such as visitors, page views, visit duration, and bounce rate, broken down by source, page, device, and country. Analytics start filling in once the site is published.
- Database: A managed database dedicated to the project for dynamic data such as menus and reservations. It is set up in one step with Create MORATUS database, and data is stored securely on Supabase; if you prefer, you can connect your own project with Connect my own Supabase.
- Settings: General (project name, publishing and access, hosting, hiding the MORATUS badge), SEO, Security, and Connectors sections.
Publishing
- An unpublished site is reachable only through your own preview link.
- Publish puts the site on MORATUS's managed infrastructure, where it scales automatically with traffic.
- In the Advanced part of Settings, you can remove the “Made with MORATUS” badge from the published site.
Good to know
- Managed data collections can be used for the site's data needs. This tool only comes into play when there is a web project in the chat.
- A site generated in one chat of a project also opens in the project's other chats.
- Desktop Web Design and App Development projects run in a cloud sandbox; project files are not downloaded to disk (see Known limitations).
