Project notes

Project notes are a short summary MORATUS keeps on its own of the decisions made and the progress in the project. Every new chat in the project picks up from these notes, so you do not have to explain the same context each time.

Q4 Sales Report and Management Presentation

Goal

Prepare a report, an Excel spreadsheet, and an 8-slide presentation for management from the Q4 sales data.

Status

  • The report was delivered as a 6-page Word document; a PDF copy is ready too.
  • Files: Sales report.docx, Sales data.xlsx, and Management presentation.pptx; all in the project folder.
  • The charts in the report are based on the data in the Excel spreadsheet; the regional breakdown was updated after feedback.

Decisions

  • The budget was approved.
  • The SMB pilot starts in November.
  • The launch date moved to November.

Next steps

  1. Add the pilot customer list to the presentation.
  2. Update the figures with last week's data before Friday's meeting.
  3. Turn the management summary into a one-page email draft.

How are the notes updated?

  • After each chat turn, a small model checks whether there is progress worth saving; if there is, it updates the notes, and if not, it leaves them alone.
  • The notes usually cover the project's goal, current status, decisions made, generated files, and next steps.
  • The notes are not a full transcript of a chat; they keep only the summary later chats need to know.

Viewing and managing the notes

  • On the project page, open the notes with Review project notes under Project notes; the time of the last update appears under the title.
  • The notes are read-only. To correct something, just tell MORATUS in the chat; the notes are updated on the next turn.
  • Use Refresh to refresh the notes.
  • Delete removes the notes completely; MORATUS forgets where it left off in the project, and the notes are rebuilt by later chats.
