MORATUS

Connectors and Integrations

Disconnecting

You can disconnect an app at any time. Once it is disconnected, MORATUS can no longer access that account; the connector cannot be used in chats, projects, or scheduled tasks, and the connection's access tokens are invalidated.

How to disconnect

  1. Open Connectors from the sidebar and find the app you want to disconnect among your connected apps.
  2. Choose the app and disconnect it.
  3. The app no longer shows as connected and its access tokens are invalidated. You can connect it again at any time with Connect.

Tip

Disconnecting turns the app off for every chat in your account. If you just don't want to use it in one chat, you don't need to disconnect; removing the connector chip from the composer is enough.

What happens when you disconnect?

AreaWhat happens
New requestsMORATUS can no longer read data from the app or take actions in it. The connector can't be used in chats until you connect it again.
Earlier chatsEarlier responses and generated files stay where they are. To remove them too, delete those chats.
ProjectsA connector added to a project can't be used in that project's chats. The project's files, instructions, and notes are not affected.
Scheduled tasksTasks that use this connector cannot complete those steps until you connect the app again.
Access tokensThe encrypted tokens are invalidated; MORATUS can no longer reach the app through this connection (see Permissions and security).
Your data in the appYour emails, files, and records stay in the app as they are. Disconnecting only ends MORATUS's access.

Revoking access on the app's side

You can also revoke MORATUS's access from the app's own account settings. This helps when you want to cut off access right away, for example when you can't sign in to MORATUS at that moment. Once you revoke it, the connector stops working; to use it again, connect the app in MORATUS once more.

AppWhere to revoke access
Google (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides)The third-party apps and services connections on your Google Account's Security page
GitHubSettings > Applications in GitHub
NotionThe Connections section in Notion's settings
DropboxThe Connected apps tab in Dropbox's settings
Other appsThe connected or authorized apps section in the app's account or security settings
  • Removing MORATUS's access on Google's side can affect all of your connected Google apps; connect the ones you want to keep using in MORATUS again.
  • A connection you revoked on the app's side may still show as connected in MORATUS; access is refused the next time it is used. Disconnect it in MORATUS too to keep your list clean.
  • For work accounts, your admin can also revoke access; if that happens, contact your admin.

Connecting again

  • On the Connectors page, choose the app and click Connect; the permission screen opens again and you grant the permissions from scratch (see Connecting).
  • To grant a permission you declined earlier, disconnect and connect again.
  • To use the app with a different account, disconnect the current connection first, then choose the other account on the permission screen when you connect again.
  • Once you connect again, projects and scheduled tasks that use the connector keep working with this connection.
