Usage

You first add a skill to your list, then turn it on in the chat where you need it. In the example below, the same request and the same data file are sent with the Data Analyst skill off and on; use the switch to move between the two chats.

customer-data-q3.xlsxXLSX · 42,318 rows
Analyze Q3 churn by segment and explain the reasons.
File read customer-data-q3.xlsx
Based on the file, more customers left in Q3 than in the previous quarter. Churn usually comes from pricing, product fit, or the support experience. For a segment-level analysis, which fields should I use as segments, and which period should I compare against?

Adding a skill

  1. Open Skills from the sidebar.
  2. Browse the catalog with the category tabs (All, Everyday experts, Business and operations, Content and communication, Building and coding) or search with Search skills.
  3. Click a skill to open its details: Skill workflow shows how the skill works, and Expected output shows what it delivers.
  4. Add the skill to your list with the + button next to it; added skills show a check mark.

Turning on a skill in a chat

  1. Choose Open skills from the Add menu in the composer.
  2. Choose a skill from your list; it appears as a chip in the composer.
  3. Write your request, add your file if needed, and send it. MORATUS handles the request with the skill's method.
  • Try in chat: Use Try in chat in a skill's details to open it right away in a new chat.
  • Several skills: For complex work, you can use several skills together in the same chat; for example, Data Analyst works through the data and Presentation Builder turns the findings into a slide flow.
  • In a project: If you add a skill to a project, it is used in every chat in that project (see Project components).
  • On every device: The skills you add are kept in your account, so you work with the same list on Web, Desktop, and Mobile.

Turning off a skill and removing it from your list

  • To turn it off in a chat: remove the skill chip from the composer; the chat continues as usual.
  • To remove it from your list: click the check mark next to the skill on the Skills page. The skill stays in the catalog, and you can add it back at any time.
  • Removing a skill from your list does not affect earlier chats that used it or the files they produced.

Getting better results

  • Write your goal, context, and the format you expect along with the skill; the skill sets the method, and your request fills in the details.
  • For data-driven skills (for example Data Analyst, Finance Analyst), add the file to the chat.
  • If the result isn't what you expected, ask for changes in the same chat; the details change based on your feedback.
  • If a skill does not suit the task, remove its chip from the composer and continue as a normal chat.
