Common questions about your account, plans and credits, chat, Desktop, privacy, and your data.

Can I use MORATUS without an account?

Web Yes, as a guest. The number of messages per day is limited; file uploads, advanced models, and creative tools are off, and guest chats aren't saved. On Desktop and Mobile you need to sign in (see Guest mode).

I don't have a password. How do I sign in?

MORATUS has no passwords. You sign in with your Google account or with a secure link sent to your email (see Creating an account and signing in).

What happens when my credits run out?

An INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS error appears. You get a notification in advance when your remaining credits drop to 20%. You can wait for your credits to renew in the new period or upgrade your plan; unused credits don't carry over (see How are credits deducted?).

Why can't I select the Expert model?

Expert and Auto (and Apex on Desktop) are available only on the Plus and Max plans. Free and Lite use Fast (see Service tiers).

Which plan should I choose for my team?

The Team plan, for 3 or more people: each member gets a Lite, Plus, or Max seat based on their needs, and all seats are combined on one invoice. Enterprise is for large organizations with custom needs (see Team plan).

If I cancel my subscription, are my chats deleted?

No. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period; your account then moves to the Free plan, and your account and content are kept unless you delete them. For every payment, you can request a refund within 14 days without giving a reason (see Managing your membership).

What happens if I close the tab while a response is being generated?

Web, Mobile Generation continues on the server and the response is saved to the chat. You will see it when you return to the chat or open it from another device.

Are incognito chats really never saved?

Incognito chats are not written to history, memory, or projects. Guest chats are never saved either. To generate replies, messages are still sent to the model provider (see Incognito chat).

What's the difference between personalization and memory?

In Personalization you choose the tone, how you're addressed, and your profession yourself; these preferences apply in every chat. Memory is lasting information MORATUS extracts from your chats; you can turn it on or off, review it, and delete it (see Personalization and Managing memory).

What data does a connector access?

Only data within the permissions you approved for the app you connected, and only when a request needs that data. It never runs steps that change something, such as sending an email or updating a file, without your approval.

Can it edit my Excel file without breaking it?

Yes. The existing workbook is edited in place; only the requested cells change, and formulas and other structures are preserved (see Document generation).

Does a scheduled task run while my computer is off?

Yes. Tasks run on the server. On Desktop, task results are not written to the local chat history.

Why don't my Desktop chats show up on Web?

Desktop chats are stored on your computer's disk and are not sent to the cloud. Your account, memory, projects, and preferences, however, stay in sync (see Where your data lives).

Can I undo a file change?

Desktop Yes. Thanks to checkpoints, a response's file changes can be undone. Changes made by terminal commands are not covered (see Checkpoints (undo)).

Does MORATUS use my content to train models?

No. MORATUS doesn't use your content to train models on its own behalf and doesn't sell it. The content needed to generate a reply is sent to model providers, whose retention terms differ (see Model providers and your content).

How do I export my chats?

Archive chats in Settings > Data controls exports all your chats as a downloadable archive. On Mobile, the archive is shared as a ZIP through the device's share menu (see Settings and export).

How do I close my account?

You can ask for your account to be closed and your data deleted by writing to privacy@moratus.ai from the email registered to your account. When the account is closed, your content is deleted within 30 days (see Data controls).
